The client required a role-based organisation chart that integrated with Active Directory. The solution had to be bi-lingual with a job titles being available in both French and English.
The chart is represented as a series of roles. With zero or more people assinged into those roles. Personal information was retrieved from Active Directory ensuring data consistency throughout the organisation.
The solution presented a single organisation chart covering the whole company. Administration of individual "branches" of the chart was delegated throughout the company to a number of identified administrators.
Administrators are able to maintain the data but only within their branch and a common set of rules are applied across the entire chart, maintaining consistency within the organisation.
In conjunction with the clients we assisted in a data migration and cleaning phase, allowing the client to raise the quality level of the chart data.
TeamOrgChart was choosen as the primary store of the companys organisation structure. We provided a REST API to allow the chart data to be easily integrated into other systems.
We worked with the clients IT team to install, configure and commission the instance within their data centre on Windows server running on VMWare using a shared SQL Server.
